Simply put, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”

Well, lately with my photography, common trash has become treasure for my eye. Give me a salvage yard, deserted town, old barn -- and I’m in photo heaven.

Places like the “Gas Station Museum” outside of Taos, New Mexico, the auto salvage yards in Rifle and Basalt, Colorado and the ghost town in Cisco, Utah have been a gold mine to me as a source of images.

Suspend the reality of what the object IS – rather see what I view of this “other world”
